GG Samir x Firebird - View Pedigree

RRR Samirage (‘Sam’) is sired by the famous Spanish National Champion GG Samir. Wayne Newton owned GG Samir for several years and is actually the breeder of RRR Samirage. GG Samir produced over 20 National winners in the U.S., in everything from halter to western performance events.

Sam's dam was the Crabbet-bred mare Firebird, who was given the title of "Aristocrat" broodmare by the International Arabian Horse Association for her contribution of Champion offspring to the breed.

Wayne Newton riding Sam's half brother WN Knight Rider, one of the most decorated National Champion Western Pleasure stallions in the history of the Arabian breed.

He was actually quite willing to do it but, being a stallion, as polite as he is, could have still have gotten in trouble as most people did not realize he was a stud and put him in some rather compromising positions (such as tying mares in heat right next to him on the rail when waiting to ride their turn!).
